Up for auction is my 1966 Jeep CJ5 which has had a frame on nut and bolt restoration. I purchased this Jeep in Washington state from a gentleman who bought it from a timber company in eastern Washington. He said it sat mostly in a parking garage and was used very little. Hence the low miles and original condition. When I got it I had the engine freshened up, heads,gaskets,etc. new brakes, steering components, new Toyo 215-75-15s it runs and handles like new. New seats installed with shoulder belts,very comfortable. New best top back seat with 2 lap belts. Nice rollbar. LED rear lights, vey bright for safety.Wipers converted to electric. All running gear is original and all body parts are original except tailgate which was replaced with new. Original wiring harness which is uncut. Original dash uncut except for dealer installed ashtray. I had the whole thing repainted, original color was Indian Ceramic, not so nice a color, so I had it painted the new Jeep Rubicon Commando Green. It looks awesome and has a beautiful shine. New gas tank, I just thought a tank that old should be replaced even though t worked ok. New. Bikini top. New front bumper with tow hitch that comes with. This is an exceptional original, low mileage, solid, excellent running Jeep. It is driven and maintained as a daily driver. It cruises at 55 just fine, I don't think it's geared very low. Would tow behind a motor home just fine. Moving out of the country this coming winter and can't take it or I would. One of the most fun rigs I have ever had. Oh yea, all new exhaust from manifold back. Needs nothing, the 225 V-6 is a great motor and easy on gas. Anyway, email me if you have questions.
