Hello, this is my 1998 Silverado Z71. I am the second owner and have owned it for 10 years. This is a very reliable truck even with the miles that it has. The Good - the trans was completely rebuilt 40,000 miles ago and was service at 30. The engine was freshened up 30.000 miles ago there was nothing wrong with the engine just wanted to put new seals and gaskets on it also replaced timing chain and gears cam and lifters water pump alternator belt, belt tentioner radiator all hoses for coolant sys new t stat etc.The complete a/c system has also been replaced. Plugs and wires where replaced then also as was a lot of other things new front and rear brakes front calipers and hoses rear hardware, drums and wheel cylinders. All front end tie rods idler and steering parts where replaced. All four shocks,The transfer case was resealed when trans was done. New rear u joints. 50 .000 miles ago rear axle was rebuilt new carrier and pinion bearings outer wheel bearings and seals. I know I have forgotten something. The Bad- the paint is the original and the clear is pealing, there is a good size dent in the rt rear 1/4 and a few small ones on the rt side they where there when I bought it and have never effected anything. The right front outer axle boot has a small tear in it and the boot needs replaced axle is still good and I only noticed that boot was damp. It needs the upper control arm bushings replaced I have them new in the box and will go with the truck. The top dash pad is cracked and will need replaced or it works fine the way it is I just cover it with a towel. The fuel gauge reads but is erratic at times needs a fuel level unit. This has always been a good truck and a lot of the things I replaced on it probably didn't need it but that's the way I have always done things. I am moving and will not need this truck anymore. buyer is responsible for all shipping arrangements and costs. I can help load with your carrier.
