California based car until shipped to Egg Harbor, Wisconsin in 2007. Driven in summers locally, and always starts reliably. Not driven in 2014, and as a result brakes have lost fluid and functionality. Emergency brake works for moving short distances. Solid car with original paint which looks great from 20 feet. Shows some crazing as you get very close. Interior leather seats - buckets (a rare original factory option) are very good and supple. Headliner is original and without rips or tears. Have the original tool set, although tools are not 100% complete. good original carpet. Original truck lining. Overall car is very original and hasn’t been modified. With brake work will be a reliable driver as it is, and or a terrific platform for a cosmetic restoration. This model has the 3.8 Litre Jaguar inline 6, and has tremendous flexibility and torque. “Grace, Pace, and Space”, was the tag line in 1959, and this elegant car has a lot of panache. I have been selling a number of cars from my collection, and hope to see this go to a good home.
