Bought this car recently from a dealer ( RPM motors LLC of West Palm Beach). Would not by a car from them again. The car is not what I thought it would be and wanted to return it but the dealer will not do the right thing. Some people just are not honest and have integrity today. I specifically asked him about the check engine light and he said it was not on. Here in Ohio, I need to pass an echeck and cant have that light on!! He said it wasn't. Well, sure enough, I get the car its on. The auto transport guy said it was on wen he picked the car up in Florida. It also has some electrical issues. It was described as a mechanically sounds, strong running car that needed some minor cosmetic work. That's it. Otherwise you could drive it anywhere, that everything worked. Well, that turned out not to be true. It turns out the car is a project car and should have been listed as such. Live and learn. Expensive mistake!! I've had my girlfriends Dad look over the car who is a retired auto mechanic and very familiar with vettes. This car does run good and the brakes and transmission are solid. However it has some electrical glitches along with the check engine light being on as well as the traction control ABS and service soon light. The check engine light is on due to a faulty O2 sensor. The blinkers don't work properly and the windshield wipers will come on unexpectedly. This is due to a faulty stearing column multi-function switch. This car is a project. Its been repainted and has some spots on it. Its a 6.5 out of 10. It does have a clean car fax and the wheels on it are pretty nice. Bose stereo sounds great too. Dealer also said he installed new targa top weather stripping. Well, it leaks pretty good. Tires in good shape with good tread on them. Other Known Defects / ABS / traction Light is on and drivers sun visor is missing. I'm listing this car as a project car!! Its Not a show room car by any means. It could be a daily driver but for me it would be too annoying. It does run strong, pulls hard, auto transmission shifts good and brakes are good, but it needs some tlc on the outside as well as the interior. Too much tlc for me as I don't have the time due to working 60+hours a week to devote to it. Its a good car for someone looking to restore a C 5 corvette and has the time to devote to it.
