Our 97 year uncle doesn't drive anymore and has to give up his car. I am selling it for him. He bought the car in 2006. When I drove away with it from his house, he saw the car from the car he was sitting in, and said: "What a damn beautiful car that is!" It isn't. The car has many scratches around the bumper and the paint isn't good. The leather interior has seen better times and has cracks. The drivers side sun visor upholstery is bad, and the car needs a good cleaning. Having said that, I drove the car for 100 miles or so and liked it. The car started up right away on a very cold day, after sitting for 4 weeks without moving in Joliet Ill. The air bag light on the dash comes on. Everything apart from the trip and odometer seem to work. No idea about the airco, but our uncle says it works, and I believe him as he isn't the guy to drive around in hot weatherwithout a working air conditioning. He took good care of the car mechanically. I remember a year ago the fight we had when we didn't have any timeto go with him, when he wanted to bring the car in for service. I checked the following functions during my trip from Jilloet: Power windows work. Power rear view mirrors work. Both power seats work in all directions. Brakes are really good. Gas mileage seem to be really good for a car that size. Dash works apart from the trip and odometer (101,000 miles). Heat works. Lights work. Power locks work including trunk. In short, this car is definitely not a looker, but still has a great deal of life in it. The ride is real smooth and the seats are not sagged. Uncle is a very light guy. The above parts was written when we got the car in January. It sat in our driveway since, and now that the weather is better, I cleaned her out and found the following issues. The rear windows no longer open. It's like they froze, but you can hear the motor work. The passengers door window does nothing on demand. A bottle of windshield washer fluid leaked behind the passengers seat. I hope it will dry. THE CAR IS NOT RUSTED!!!!!!! Just a minor bit of surface rust in the drivers side door sill. The engine pulls strong and the brakes and steering are as good as can be. I did not see any leaks under the car after it had been sitting for almost 4 month in the same spot. The pictures were taken on 4/12/2015 and represent the car as is. The tires have good life in them, the car started up right away, the oil isn't black, the air condition seems to work. The car is sold as is, where is, and is offered for sale locally as well, and I reserve the right to pull the the car from this auction at any time.
