Up for auction is a 1965 El Camino project. The El Camino has always been a California Car with original black and yellow license plates. Looks to be the original 283 motor. It was originally three on the tree and now has a Muncie four speed. Many new parts have been installed. Lights are working, as well as the turn signals. With some work it will make someone a nice driver. Will likely need carb re-build. It's a little loud once started - seems to have an exhaust leak and throw-out bearing will need to be replaced. Wiring will need some looking at. The car has rust in the usual areas. Front and back windows. Floor on drivers side could be repaired or replaced; passenger side looks to have been replaced but not the best job. Hell hole will need to be replaced or repaired and also behind the bench seat. Frame looks to be in good condition. Some of the bed trim will still need to be installed; the two corners and also the two long pieces. If buyer is outside of California I will be keeping the original plates.
