Vehicle Detail
We have decided to part with this car, we have had it for 8 years. It runs good, a/c is ice cold, heat is very hot, it is fully loaded, leather seats, larger engine (standard on this 2.7L V-6 engine, and this is a 3.2L V-6 engine). The car runs great, lots of power, especially for a 17 year old 'baby'. Further, there are some scratches and normal wear and tear. The tires are in pretty decent condition, but I would change for next winter. I have replaced the battery (last summer (2014, July). I have made several repairs to this car within the last year (at the time with intentions of keeping it d/t the high cost of all the repairs) including replacement of engine oil cooler lines, power steering lines & necessary attachments, battery, and catalytic converter. When I totaled it up I spent close to $1500k on the repairs (probably a little more than that). SO, I was going to just keep it at that point, b/c it did need all that work to get it good shape, oh actually, now that I think about it, I actually had to replace the both front struts (that was a few hundred). My son was driving the car for a few years before he went to college and his farther and I decided to get him a new one for school, prior to that, when he was driving this car, besides oil changes, tire rotations, and e-checks, he didn't do anything else repair wise to the vehicle. It has been kept in the garage at times and in the driveways, others, depending on when everyone gets home. It is a great car and no doubt work every penny I am asking. For the age of the car the mileage is pretty low, and with all the repairs/replacements done recently definitely make the the value. I checked on KBB for private party sale of this vehicle (which they do not have the exact same car, due to some of the upgrades not listed. But if you are interested in running the KBB today, I can tell you that all you need is that is a 1998 Chrysler Concorde with the larger engine (the 3.2L), and the luxury package which is the (LXi package), it has an automatic transmission, dual and side airbags, CD player (installed), ice-cold air-conditioning, power seats (NOT just drivers side, but passenger side, too!), black leather seats (in pretty good condition, could use some mink oil to shine and clean up), steel wheels, and, last but not least, cruise-control for comfortable highway. Because of all the money I spent on it in this year (not just to keep it on the road, but do so with all new brand name parts and certified mechanics, no junk-yard parts and/or quick fixes on our own). Regarding price, I really can't afford to budge, however if is only $200-300 you are short, please give me a call b/c we may be able to make it happen. For instance,I could work with you to help lower your total cost (by maybe $200 or so, NO guarantees on that though). Please consider all the hidden costs when you buy a new car such as time, another driver, gas money, perhaps money to ship it, then you need to pay to get the title transferred into your name (which is where you pay tax on the purchase), then you have to goto the BMV and get registration for you and your plates to keep it in your name (many of you know this, but for new buyers (or older ones looking for a commuter vehicle) due to the price of the car and the nice upgrades that make it a good starter car, with lots of space to ride in and tons of space in the trunk. This auction ends soon so please call me soon or write down my number. Last of all, I want you to know that this car drives really well, it still has super hot heat in the summer (that gets hots in minutes) and ice-cold A/C in the summer. Of course, due to the age, and nature of the sale the vehicle comes as, no returns excepted. It is definitely priced to sell, as we need the money to buy a new home.
