Vehicle Detail

Listed is our 2000 Chevrolet S10 Xtreme, stepside extended cab.Engine is a 2.2 L 4 Cylinder, backed by a 4 Speed Automatic 4L60E transmission.*It is equipped with Power Steering, Power Disc Brakes, Cruise Control, Air Conditioning, Tilt Wheel, Delay Wipers, Bucket Seats, Factory AM/FM stereo with CD.*This is a true S10 Xtreme as the original “RPO” option tag is still in the glove box and displays the necessary option codes to authenticate: ZQ8 – Factory installed suspension package, which includes 1.5” drop, rear sway-bar, heavier front sway-bar, and Z8Q specific performance shock absorbers. I believe this truck has been lowered approximately 2-3 inches lower than stock by a previous owner.V4A – Factory installed Lower ground effects, complete with Xtreme exclusive front air dam. This truck also is a stepside, with rear step eliminator body kit and roll-pan beneath the tailgate.I have installed new OEM type headlamps, new tailamps, and there are new mirrors, in the box to install that go with the truck. It has custom mirrors installed with lights that do not work. Our state inspection requires that if a vehicle has a light, it must operate. This truck is not showroom perfect and like any other truck it's age has no warranty, implied or written. It is a 15 year old truck, but it drives and runs very well. It tracks and stops straight, without pulling to either side, and handles quite well. The Negatives : 1. There is an oil leak that will require attention. This leak showed up after I took it out of storage about 6 weeks ago. (Did I mention I lost my storage, and that is one of the reasons my wife thinks it should go?) I think it is valve cover gasket or sending unit related, as the leak appears to be up higher in the engine, not down around the rear main seal, or the oil pan. 2. It needs a new left front wheel speed sensor, hence the reason for the ABS light. I pulled the code with my scan tool to verify. The part is very inexpensive, readily available, and can easily be installed in an afternoon, with minimal tools and experience. As much as I hate to sell this truck, it must go. I lost the storage where I kept it, and my wife said “enough is enough, time to let it go.” After 30 years I think she may be right…maybe. Who knew we didn't need an entire fleet of cars for the two of us to drive?Interior :The interior on this truck is very nice and in incredible condition for an original smoker-free interior in a vehicle of this age and of this mileage. I consider it a firm 7 on a scale of 1-10. The seats are still nice and firm and the carpet and headline may both be perfect. I saw zero imperfections in either. Exterior :The paint and body both are very nice as well. I have looked this truck over carefully and have found no visible rust issues or repaired body damage. The paint and body shows some wear, but the dings, scratches and blemishes are all minor. Once again, in my opinion, I would say 7-7.5 on a scale of 1-10.The wheels on this truck are American Racing, Torque-thrust II’s with relatively new tires. The original wheels and tires are with the truck and will be included in the sale. The tires on those wheels are very nice as well. Two are near new condition, and two still have 50% or better wear.Paperwork :I have, in my possession a clear/clean title. There are no title issues, and it is a clear title, not a salvage or rebuild title with no leans in our names. Summary : This truck would be a great “Shop truck” for a rod shop or a restoration business, a great second vehicle (in case you want to save miles on your newer car, but want to look good doing so) or maybe a vehicle for that High-school or College student heading into the summer workforce. This little truck certainly “Has-the-look” Please feel free to message me with any questions, or a phone number and I will be happy to discuss this vehicle with you at your convenience. I have made every attempt to describe this truck as accurately as I possibly can, but please feel comfortable to contact me so we can make an appointment to inspect it yourself, if need be.
