NO RESERVE - (No, I don't have anyone bidding on this awesome car for me neither) 2006 Audi TT 3.2 Quattro Special Edition Roadster 1of 99 badge. You will NOT find another car like this with this little mileage. I am the second owner, and bought it certified from the Audi dealer in Aurora IL. dealership paperwork with mileage in hand. All accessories from the factory are included, tire inflating kit, tools, first aid kit, all manuals, 3 keys, 1 valet key, all look new. The information center display has some pixel malfunction but it is legible, the front tires are new, but could use two rear tires, other than that this car sounds, runs and smells like new. The odometer shows original miles, no dings, scratches, or chips from road debris, feel free to bring your paint meter or body filler detector, no accident or flood damage, convertible top cloth is in perfect condition and works with no issues. I have sold cars through eBay in the past and obtained good reviews. I am not a car dealer, therefore I have to sell the car as is, with no warranty, but please feel free to come see it and test drive it. This is an awesome $46,000 all wheel drive Roadster, with %95 of its life left, being sold for less than half its original sticker price. I noticed that in your description you state the car is all wheel drive, but you don't use the word, quattro. In my readings about Audi cars, if I am correct, Audi manufacturing has progressed through stages of the quattro. Can you tell me at what stage this car is in? I hope my question makes sense to you. And perhaps you can tell me more about the quattro technology, if you have time. Hi Carolyn, the vehicle has generation 4 Haldex Quattro traction, you will see the badges on the front grill and rear section below the 3.2 badge. This is the Special Edition (SE) version, 250-hp turbo V6 with two-tone wheels that commemorates the 99th anniversary of the Tourist Trophy race that gave it the TT name, only 99 Coupes and 99 Roadsters were made.There are 7 generations of Quattro based on the Torsen central differential used on longitudinal engines, Volkswagen group vehicles with traversed engines like the TT use a Quattro Haldex version, which is an all wheel drive system based on a front wheel drive transmission layout. In normal driving conditions up to 100% of torque transferred to front axle. When slipping occurs, a Haldex multiplate clutch locks, and up to 100% of torque is automatically transferred to rear axle. Haldex Generation I and II clutch offers instant activation, they lock as soon as one drive shaft travels just 1/8 of a turn further than the other. Front wheels do just 1/4 of a turn before all wheel drive is activated. Does it have heated seats?Thanks Hi, the car does have a AM/FM/XM CD, radio data system, speed sensitive Bose stereo system, located behind the aluminum plate that has the TT logo right above the ac/heat controls, 8 total speakers, 1 sub woofer located behind the driver seat. The idea behind this vehicle was to make it as light as possible such as you would in a race car, things like a counter weight was removed from the rear, as well as the spare tire, which was replaced by a inflating device, there is also no automatic seats, seat heaters or navigation, this is the way it was designed in order to make it as light as possible. It does have automatic windows,rear view mirrors, trunk, etc. The top is automatic, but it has a latch that you would have to twist in order to secure the top, this is also manufacturer designed. If you look closely down on the front left corner of the driver's seat and the right front corner of the passengers seat, you will find a two-way rocker switch. There are two positions for low and high heat and they work quite well. I was never able to find out why the Coupe had the controls up on the dash where our Roadsters have two 'dummy' buttons? The color is actually Quartz Grey Metallic and those wonderful seats are Amber Red Baseball Optic Leather.
