A matching numbers bike that has been in the same ownership for 40 years. Extensively rebuilt in the 1990s including a complete engine refurbishment by Carlos Rhodes one of the foremost Bay Area Triumph specialists of the times. The engine was reunited with the frame in the early 2000s and the bike ridden for approx 1000 miles at which time it was involved in a small accident which resulted in a complete professional rebuild of the front end after which the bike was parked and not used again. In this accident the tank was dented and remains in this condition as can be seen in the pictures. The bike has a clean California title and has not been registered for some time – the actual year of the last registration is unknown. The bike runs although it does not idle cleanly on one cylinder and will need a full tune up before use. There is a crack in the loom and what looks like a broken wire at this point. The overall condition of the machine is very good and it will not take much to make the machine a rider for this season. I am posting the sale for the owner who is unable to do so himself but is able to take questions the answers to which I will provide.
