2003 F-250 Super Duty 4x4 For sale is my low mileage 2003 F-250 Extended cab. I bought this truck from a small dealer in Ohio who wasn't able to troubleshoot a small electrical problem with the engine. I troubleshot the problem in the parking lot at Great Wolf Lodge in Sandusky where we were spending the weekend. It was an unplugged socket on #6 injector. I plugged the socket in and drove the truck the rest of the way home after our stay. I replaced the plug and now have a perfectly good running truck. I changed the engine oil and filters, fuel filters, shocks, carrier bearing, and transmission oil cooler filter. I have receipts for what I have replaced. Per the car fax @ 73,000mi the transmission was replaced with a Reman at Matthews Ford, also at that time the front upper and lower ball joints were replaced, powersteering pump was replaced, Front rotors replaced, and sway bar links were replaced. The turbo was replaced at 68,000 miles by the same dealer. I have the carfax and will include it. The truck has never been in an accident. The truck has nearly new batteries, very good 10ply tires, its original spare, keyless entry, power heated and lighted mirrors, gooseneck hitch with plug in the bed, and bedliner. The rust on the wheel wells is the standard issue spot for any superduty, the fenders are otherwise solid. If i were keeping the truck I would get some Por15 on the spots and get a pair of fender flares. Also the automatic hubs do not work automatically, I disassembled them and re-lubed them so they are easier to turn. The 4x4 switches on, off and into low range as it should. Also the gear indicator cable is broken where it attaches to the shift selector, it has no affect on transmission operation. The truck runs down the road very good, Tow/Haul works as it should, the steering is smooth and runs straight. The front and rear seats are in great shape with no stains or tears and are very firm and comfortable. I would keep this truck in a heartbeat if it were a crewcab but with a 3&4 year old the back seat just won't work. So I'll keep looking. I crawled all over this truck and it really is in good shape. The underside of the cab is solid as are the cab corners, there is just a small bit of surface rust on the underside, a bit of work with a wire brush and some primer and paint will have it protected for years.
