1980 scout II . runs good - shifts smooth. auto locking hubs. roll bar. very little rust - windshield has some bubbles and inside has quarter size hole. inner fender where battery sits . that's about it . I tried to bondo a couple dents but im wasn't trying for a show truck. ive got a push button start - reg start can be fixed tho. I keep it in 4h - it wants to pop out of 2h ...gauges are erratic but prob just need to be cleaned. that's about it for the bad - its a good 345 and great auto trans. I drive it around quite a bit and its very dependable .. you don't have to be a scout expert to buy this one .. in fact if you've wanted a scout thisis a great one to start with. you can drive it and enjoy right now . it has newer 33 in tires and lift that I did myself. inc. new steering joint... long story short ive replaced and fixed stuff over last 5 yrs but im ready to move on to my diesel scout projects. its got around 75k . im 4th owner.clear title. its almost 40 yo so I cant guarantee anything but I think you ll be pleased with this one. if you like cruising beach its great with top off and it has good stereo and speakers I put in. will add some more pics -- it has the full top on it now .. half top isn't inc.
