Damaged 2007 Honda Odyssey EXL Minivan Van 8 Seats VIN#: 5FNRL38627B026281 Our family vehicle, this 2007 Honda Odyssey, got rear-ended by a 2005 Ford F-250 on the morning of March 3, 2015. We were stopped in the van, waiting to turn right at a stop sign, and got hit thanks to the distracted 20 year old driver of the truck. No one was injured - just a little shaken up. The Odyssey is NOT totaled. It has a CLEAR title. The insurance company valued the vehicle at $9000+. According to a local reputable body shop, there was no frame damage and no suspension damage. The van starts and drives with no issues. They were planning to replace the rear bumper, rear lamps, the lift gate, and the side panel. The van has some minor dings and scratches consistent with it’s age. The interior carpet has some staining. Heavy-duty fitted utility mats are included in this auction. An 8th seat is also included for the second row of seats. Three keys are included and 2 remote entries. The van currently has 142,925 miles. It is a non-smoking vehicle. When it turned 100,000 miles, we had the timing belt replaced. The van had regular oil charges & other maintenance as required. It consistently passes inspection, year after year. The current Virginia inspection is due June 2015. We purchased this vehicle from a reputable local car dealer on Sept 1, 2010. At that time, it had 57,000 miles on it. It has served us very well. It was a hard decision for us to not get it repaired, but we ultimately decided to take this opportunity to upgrade to a newer van. We hope someone is able to get some value from the damaged Odyssey. The sliding side doors are fully functional. The rear axel & tires are not damaged. No suspension/frame damage. The winning bidder will need to pick the van up in Winchester, Virginia. We are located about 3 miles off of Route 81 at exit 313 in Virginia. While the van is “technically” drivable, we’d like to see it towed from our home, as the rear lamps are not functional and the back windshield is shattered, and there is no insurance or registration on the vehicle.
