1979 MGB Roadster-Restored Car-Drives Wonderfully SHOW & GO-Sorted Out & Ready To Enjoy!! The best MGB that I have ever driven. IT is winter here, this car fires right up with a little choke & the engine sounds great through the Abarth style exhaust, the transmission synchros are quiet no scratching the OVERDRIVE transmission functions perfectly, I can't find any issues-- the front end is extremely tight no wobbles, very tight and I can't find anything that doesn't work. Even the turn signals, but they are a little slow. As of yet, no one has force closed the hood or trunk, which leaves the bending high spot on top of the supports front & rear, NO not on this one. I have had MANY of these MGB's and this is the best driving one ever. Not just saying, its true. It shows 3300 miles but that is 103,000 because the engine & overdrive transmission were rebuilt @ 98,000 miles. I have it priced really right, so help yourself. Aftermarket air cleaners and valve cover. Interior was also restored with new seats, dash, door panels and carpets. The top looks good, it has the boot and tonneau are included. Minor paint chipping in front, the paint is good. NO RUST Issues. One tiny ding in the left front fender (I will repair it paint less if you Buy It Now) It has a Kenwood remote stereo. I have about $7,ooo+ in receipts for a rebuilt engine and transmission, lots of suspension and practically all the parts needed for restoration. Nice wheels newer tires. One repaint that would benefit from a nice polish, the engine compartment that is SO clean you can eat off of it. This was shown in the MG club often. More driver quality than anything, but you won't spend very much $$$ making it better. This car is really solid. , I think the floors are original, but have not had it on a lift. I have the BUY IT NOW $5,875 price set way below the market for this nice of a car. You will be impressed. I also have both sets of original keys. Inspections are encouraged BEFORE the auction ends.
