This truck started life as a Lariat trim F350 6.7 4x4 DRW. I bought her to haul the family and boat safely. The boat was not heavy just wide and the wind pushed our 3/4 ton all over the road so I bought the dually... Night and day difference. I upgraded the front end to a F450 for the wider stance. It balanced the look of the American forged wheels better. This includes a F450 wide track front axle and all locating equipment. track bars, sway bars, stearing assembly and the wide fender flares. The truck is truly a 450 now as that is the only difference from the 350 aside from the 4.30 running gears that come on the 450 to achieve the higher tow rating. F350 comes with 3.73 and I have geared this truck to 4.10's... Perfect ratio for the 37inch tires and a balance of raw towing and good low highway rpm. Keep in mind these trucks have a six speed transmission now with a super low 1st gear and a double overdrive. This truck also has the EGR and exhaust emissions delete along with a nice tune. It feels and jumps forward like a sports car... Huge power, huge torque with better fuel economy... I customized her from top to bottom to make the best looking, best riding pickup out there. This truck rides GREAT empty and loaded because she has a long travel soft ride suspension from CARLI ($10,000) and long travel air bags riding on a very soft long travel leaf pack..Custom paint every where by LD customs in Houston. To much to list but there is no ruff black parts left and NO chrome. All has been sanded, blasted and painted tuxedo black!
