Wonderful-Rare-Dependable1941 Ford Express 1-Ton Pickup Truck Originally preserved 1 family owned since new. 5317 models of the 'Express' Model were manufactured in 1941. Very few remain, and fewer are in this remarkable, well preserved condition. It was purchased new in 1941 and used exclusively to deliver Mobil oils, lubricants and other Mobil products until 1968. In 1974 it was given tohis son. Over the years it was loving maintained and enjoyed. It was restored...but not 'over restored' to maintain it's original character. All mechanicals are excellent. This truck starts, runs, brakes steers and drives excellent! I would not be afraid to drive it anywhere. All electrical works well. Glass is in great shape and windows roll up and down as they should. The only item I am aware of that does not work is the emergency brake. Even the 2 speed heater works well!! This is a complete, original, numbers matching truck. If you are a serious Ford collector or just love old trucks you know how few of these are left. Specifications: Original 85 Hp Flathead V8 motor. Excellent compression, runs strong, starts easy. Original Optional and Highly desired 4-speed transmission. Works as new. The 'Express 1-Ton was on the same 122" Chassis as the 3/4 ton offered in 1941.
