1972 Super Beetle, stored in a dry southern California garage since 1990. One owner car with original paint, engine and transmission and interior in excellent condition. No rust anywhere on the body or floorpan. This was the first car my brother bought and it was meticulously maintained until he stopped driving it and parked it in his garage in 1990. This car set for over 25 years so it will need more than a gallon of gas and a new battery before it can be safely driven. The engine turns over freely but obviously will need a fuel tank cleaning, tires replaced. oil change, brakes checked and other maintenance items from sitting since 1990. This beetle is an AUTO Stick and it got well over 30mpg but for someone wanting to convert to a manual transmission it can easily be done by swapping the pedal cluster, adding a clutch cable (tube is already in the tunnel) and finding a good 4 speed. Car is in Long Beach and ready for pick up. The car has a clear California title. I confirmed with DMV that it has no back registration fees and it is really to re-title with no emissions test required.
