Offered for your consideration is a very rare 1954 Porsche 356 Pre-A, Bent Window coupe. This car is very straight, but really needs and deserves a full restoration. New floor pans have been purchased, as well as several other sheet metal parts from the Stoddard company, and some other parts as shown in the photos. There is rust, some bondo, and old repairs (from back in the 70's when it was a daily driver) - and the engine is an older rebuilt "1600" from a 1962 356. (owner is a 50yr factory trained VW/Porsche technician). The car runs and yard drives, but is not roadworthy. NH Title in hand. LOCATION AND CONTACT INFORMATION: This Pre A Coupe has been removed from it's very snug home of nearly 40 years, and moved to my workshop (I'm helping a friend sell this Porsche). My shop is well lit, heated, and available for showings by appointment only, and is located in Winchester, NH 03470. My mobile telephone is 603-762-2929, but please be respectful of my time zone (eastern) and NO phone calls before 7am or after 9pm. PAYMENT can be made by cleared, certified check, or wire transfer through the owners attorney. A non-refundable deposit of $500 will be required by paypal or overnight funds within 48hrs, the balance due within 7 days of the sale. Cash, in person, is welcome as well, again, within seven days. STORAGE AND INSURANCE: I will do everything possible to assist you in your efforts to ship the car. I'm happy to store it free of charge for 30 days, but it is not insured by me, and I would require proof of your insurance for the car if it's to be garaged here after the purchase is complete. (All parts that we believe belong to this coupe are being included with the car) The surplus items include a Pre-A engine case, crank, 3 rods, and many other 356 A-B-C-D parts including another complete 356 B 1962 engine that was running (smoked some) when it was put in storage 25+ yrs ago. This engine turns over and is 99% complete. I have photos available for these extra parts. As a thank you for bidding on his Bent Window Coupe, the owner has decided to INCLUDE AT NO CHARGE the Pre-A engine case, crankshaft and 3 rods that he was going to sell separately! NOTE: This engine case has NO SERIAL NUMBER as we believe it was an older factory reman unit. What an incredible opportunity to create the car of your dreams WITH a period correct engine that has no serial number stamped in it. (the case numbers do match) * there is some degradation of the aluminum around the inside of the oil sump, as shown in the pictures.
