This 1969 Suburban belonged to my uncle and has been in our family for over 25 years. We live in Virginia but he worked for a moving company based out of southern California. We kept this suburban and used it when we were out there to travel around and to take ATVs to Pizmo Beach to ride in the sand dunes. Approx. 6 years ago he retired from that company and we brought the suburban to Virginia. We really haven't done much of anything with it since. The nostalgia factor isn't quite the same here as it was on the west coast, especially with going to the beach. So, here and now is this original 1969 Chevy Suburban that is equipped with factory A/C but is currently INOP. The truck is a 3 door option having 2 doors on the passenger side. There is the usual rust at the rocker panels and on the drip rail around the roof line. Nothing major, but it is there as with most all of these older trucks.Otherwise, the body is rust, dent, and damage free. The engine starts up with a jump and does idle and run without smoking or anything. It will lot drive,but due to the amount of time it has been primarily sitting, I would not recommend attempting to take it out on the roadway without a thorough check. This would be a great family project and one of those that you can actually keep when you have children because it has a back seat. Obviously this will be sold as-is. Ask any questions you have.
