1966 Mustang Fastback A Code GT Please read and comprehend Here we have a 66 Mustang Fastback GT. This car is a major project. Will need a lot of sheet metal work. This car is not for a armature. This is a project car that is meant for someone who knows what they are doing. This vehicle has the original 289 four barrel with its 4-speed transmission. This vehicle has VIN number stamped on two different aprons as seen in photos. As you can see from the photos, it will need a complete restoration. This vehicle does not run and it has been sitting for a very long time. All body parts and accessories are readily available through various mustang ventures. The vehicle will need floor pans, frame rails, and cowl work. I purchased this vehicle as you see it in the pictures and have done nothing to it. Reason for not doing this project is because I have purchased a 1969 R code that I wish to do instead of this 1966 A code. The vehicle will comes as seen in pictures. It does have some new sheet metal. As front fenders, front valance, rear GT valance, rear trunk floors/drop offs, and also rear lower window panel. The vehicle also has front disc brakes and the correct master cylinder and proportion valve. As stated earlier, this car is a major project. The previous owner for some unknown reason decided to spray the car in grey primer. It needs sheet metal work all over but it will be a great car to restore. I sent off to Marty report and got a new door tag (as seen in pictures) and the car is original signal flare red with black pony interior and it is also a GT car. This vehicle restored is a beautiful combination and if done correctly could be in the 55-60k range. These vehicles are increasing value as the days go by.
