Don't miss out on this deal. What a beautiful treasure for the money! This is a rare find! Classic step-side pick up, older restoration (15 years ?), Still shines nice. Has normal dings, chips and chafes as you would expect for a driver. Was originally from Arizona and then brought to Michigan, stored in a dry environment for several years so there is very little rust. (Just ask me and I will tell you exactly where there is rust). This is not a rust-bucket. The rust is very tiny, isolated, and not in a critical area. I just want anyone to be able to bid with confidence. The interior is clean and complete with a clean tear-free, black, vinyl, original-style cover. This truck hadn't run for several years when we got it. It now starts right up and runs but will need carb rebuild (hesitates). Hydraulic clutch works fine as does the original 4-speed manual transmission. Muffler and tailpipe are newer looking. Replaced the brake master cylinder and bled the brakes so that they are working. (Linings look newer). The engine is a 272 Y-Block with an Autolite four barrel carburetor upgrade. It has new plugs, plug wires, cap and rotor, and ignition coil, as well as a new fuel pump, starter solenoid, and battery. The 15" wheels are custom aluminum with finned centers painted black. Tires look good and have more than 60% tread. (One still has the sticker on the tread). This truck will need very little to be a daily driver or cruiser. There are not many in this condition available, and certainly not for what we are asking. This is way above "rat-rod" condition, and could be a nice daily driver, or a good start on a pristine restoration. Please, serious inquiries only.
