Vehicle Detail

1967 Olds Toronado. Car has power steering, power drum brakes, a/c, power seat, power windows, am-fm wonderbar, chrome wheels, tilt & Tele, power trunk, and power antenna. I brought this car home with what I thought was a carbon knock that wasn't. What had happened was the nylon timing gear disintegrated clogging the pick up screen for the oil pump hence bearing failure. Knock Knock..... Mechanical:I bought a 1971 Olds "98" sedan with 86,000 miles on it for the drive train. I removed said engine and trans and sold the remains to a guy who does crash up derbies. It was a shame to see the Olds go to that but we can't save them all. The next thing I did was to have the gas tank restored and figure out what sending unit could be used as they don't make one reproduction. While the tank was off being restored we attacked the engine I bought. We took it down to the long block and resealed everything. I also installed a comp cams double roller chain and gear along with a melling regular volume and pressure pump. Next we swapped the Toronado oil pan, intake, oil filter housing, and a few other Toronado must haves. I had the carburetor rebuilt and properly set and adjusted. New vacuum lines, distributor, and a inter regulator conversion with new alternator etc.... I also have the correct air cleaner, valve covers, and a N.O.S. headlamp control valve which is 1967 only and wasn't cheap. I have all the paperwork for everything I bought. Body:It appears to me to be original paint and body entirely. The previous owner removed the vinyl top and primed the roof to prevent rust. I have all the moldings to put a vinyl top on if you choose. This car has no floor rot, frame rot etc. It still has both drain tubes in the rear deck to trunk floor all the moldings are nice, and the glass is great! It has factory chrome wheels and very nice original chrome bumpers with that signature olds trumpet look. Extras:The car comes with two extra rear bumpers, a headlight surround panel, a hood grille and a front grille as well. Needs:Headliner stitched in the centerMultiple small seat repairsA/C service This car is super original down to the factory T-3 headlight bulbs that still work. It needs a buff and a few small repairs to be a really nice car. I found it cheap, fixed it cheap so now I'm selling it cheap. You get the original 425 with it as well!
