This car is an excellent runner and great daily driver. In the last 2 years, I invested over $5k in maintenance that should serve the car well for many miles to come. Our family is growing and we just purchased an SUV, so this one is going up for sale. The car has been dealer serviced through Feldman Imports Mercedes-Benz in Minneapolis. Recent service and maintenance includes: 130k miles - new brakes and 4 new continental all season tires - $880 132k miles - new tran mounts, new motor mounts, radiator flush - $1,200 137k miles - transmission service and new torque converter - $1,900 142k miles - new water pump lines / seals - $700 142k miles - new shocks - $1,200 Synthetic oil change every 3-5k miles The car runs down the road like new. The under body is also clean (see pictures). Tires are at 80% tread. I would be comfortable hopping in this car and going across the country and back tomorrow. I invested in these major services and routine maintenance because I expected to keep the car well past 200k miles. It should go that long and then some. I would love to keep this car if we could - we just need the space for a growing family, and there aren't enough spots in the garage. Anyone who has ever owned a Mercedes knows they are solid cars. This model is one of the last German-made E-Class Mercedes models sold in the U.S. It's construction is solid. It is smooth as silk down the highway and gets 25-27mpg. The AWD is excellent in all road conditions. The car also comes with an added Yakima roof rack system (I used it for skis and bikes) and 48'' bars that I will include. This rack system was $600 and is top notch. The racks are weight tested to 300lbs of load, and are under warranty. In response to some of the questions received on the car: Is everything work EXACTLY as it should as new and are any buttons or switches missing?All buttons, levers, windows, locks, and options work as designed. Here are the exceptions to flawless condition: There is a small cap to the mirror adjustment switch that has been misplaced (see picture) but the mirror adjustment is fully functional. This car also has fog lamps that work, however, there is an invalid lamp error that occurs, even though they work. The diagnoses was that there is no fault in the function of the fog lamps, but to correct the faulty error the suggestion from the dealer was to replace the electronic computer for ~$400. I chose not to do this. Is the jack and spare in good condition?Yes, I also added a picture of the jack and spare. Are the any rips or tears in the interior and does it have any odors? Any pets?There are no rips or tears to the interior. The car is a non-smoking car (and was before me) and has no foul odors. There are no pet hairs or pet traffic signs in the car from any point in time. Does the car have a rear wiper/window defogger.This car has a rear window defroster, but not a wiper. The wagon has a stock rear wiper for the vertical rear window, but not the sedan. How many sets of keys do you have? Books and records?I have two sets of keys for the car and books and records since my purchase, in addition to a clean in hand title with no liens whatsoever. Are you driving the car? Not daily.
