This is a one owner (elderly woman) car that was willed to another older woman then sold to me. This awesome Chevy was ordered and bought at RAMPY CHEVROLET in Ann Arbor Michigan by Betty Ash in December of 1968. The car and Betty then made there way to Louisville Kentucky somewhere around 1993 where a vintage A/C unit was installed to help fight the hot summers. It was also "ZEBART" rust protected in Kentucky around the same time. Then the two of them (The Camaro and Betty) made the trip to New Hampshire around 2006. This is a special car that has made it thru 46 years without being cut up, altered, or messed with. Betty ordered this Camaro the way she wanted it and she did a great job because it is AWESOME! The exterior (real red code 52)is in excellent shape the paint shines very well with no major scratches or dents. The vinal roof is in perfect condition. All the chrome and trim is also very nice condition. The tires are new, the wheels and hub caps (dog dish) are in great shape. The interior (real white code 727) is also in excellent condition. The seats are like new even the fold down rear seat. All the gauges work as they should even the rear defrost works! This car is awesome to sit in and drive with the bucket/console option. The original numbers matching 307 V8 motor and transmission run and shift perfect!! The motor starts right up with NO smoke or noise even the choke works. The engine compartment is original and untouched. The turbo hydra-matic shifts great thru all 3 gears. This car runs great and is a blast to drive. The underneath of this Camaro is excellent with no rot at all. This car has the original floor and trunk pans that are in great condition. Overall this is a VERY nice Camaro that could be added to a personal collection, brought to car shows and shurely be a favorite or just driven and enjoyed. Its not often that you will find a car that has been as well cared for as this. This car would also be a great candidate for a COPO clone as it is a real X44 car.
