We have gotten 29 MPG with highway driving using the cruise control. The transmission fluid was changed at 92,000 miles. It has a new battery from Batteries plus a couple years ago. The major service was performed at 103,000 miles. This car has an engine monitor system that tells when to change the oil. I have changed the oil every time the engine monitor said it needs it. I have always used Castrol fully Synthetic oil and changed the filter as well as the oil. With easy highway miles this car can get almost 15,000 miles between oil changes. It has not been driven very many miles since the last change and with highway miles it could go over 12,000 miles before it needs changing again. It has needed a few repairs to replace things such as the lower ball joints, the Fly wheel harmonic balancer, and the crank shaft position sensor. The left rear window does not work but it never bothered us enough to take it in to get it fixed. There are no warning lights or error messages on dash. This is my wife’s car that I’m selling. She only used it occasionally and it spent a lot of time in the garage. I recently retired and now we no longer need two cars and this car has not been getting very many miles recently so it would be better for someone else to enjoy it. This car still has a sticker from GULF STREAM MOTORS in The Palm Beaches which is consistent with the carfax report that it was originally titled in Florida. From Florida it went to South Carolina where we purchased it and brought it to North Carolina. It has almost never seen snow and has no signs of any salt corrosion found in many cars from the north. The carfax report indicates this car was involved in a collision at the rear. If there was any serious damage to the rear, it was well repaired as the rear looks fine and the truck opens and closed nicely. There is a little piece of molding that has a tear that could have resulted from this but it doesn’t affect operation of the truck and that is the only sign of anything at the rear of the car. This is not a salvage title. This is an extremely comfortable car that starts good and runs very smooth. We no longer need it and this gives you a good opportunity to enjoy the experience of driving a Mercedes Benz.
