Vehicle Detail

I am selling my 1967 GMC suburban. This is my BABY and I thought this day would never come. It is a 1967 ¾ ton GMC 2 wheel drive which is a pretty rare combination. I bought this in 2008 and it was spray paint green with a factory 327 in it. I cruised it around for a while till the 327 blew up and that's when I decided to do a complete restoration on it. It sat for a few years while I saved the money and decided what I wanted to do. In 2011 I started the restoration; the first thing done was the engine and transmission. I pulled the 327 out and installed a big block 454 with and edlebrock intake and carb, HEI, and a set of headers. I had the valve covers and air cleaner top done in orange skulls by a friend who does hydro graphics. At the same time as I did the motor I pulled the transmission out and had it completely gone through and rebuilt including a shift kit and a new torque converter. When I first got the burb I had ordered a Vintage Air air conditioning kit for it but had yet to install in when the 327 died. I went ahead and installed the majority of it when I did the motor swap and then I ordered custom brackets to make the Vintage Air kit fit the 454(compressor and brackets still need mounted and center air vent still needs installed in the dash). I also yanked all the old exhaust off and had a brand new full exhaust installed on it. I had the burb painted in blizzard pearl and orange sherbert pearl. The paint came out amazing and the pics do it absolutely no justice, the paint is gorgeous in the sunlight. People come up at look at the paint all the time when I am out and about in it. I had the three rockers replaced while it was in the body shop as well and had them build me a fuel door for the gas tank filler hose which looks a lot cleaner than the factory one. I had the interior completely custom done by an upholstery shop in a white with orange accent. The colors really pop together and look amazing. I even had the seat belts custom made in orange to match. There are billet door and window handles, as well as billet dash and glove box panels. I had some embroidery done on the back of the back seat so when the rear doors are open you can see the "67 burb" stitched into the back. The 67 didn't come with a deluxe interior so I had panels made to trim out all the back cargo area and it looks great! The only thing left to do on the interior is a headliner, I have a couple designs sketched up but just haven't had the time to get one installed. The burb has all new chrome bumpers, grill, seal plates and headlight trim. I also installed new style headlights with the chrome eyebrows on top. The chrome wheels are from another vehicle I had and are in decent shape but the chrome is starting to peel on them from the back side. Tires have about 40% tread and I have two spare tires that I will include with it in the sale. I also have the factory spare that goes in the rear I just don't like it inside the vehicle. This burb has a low geared rear end which never bothered me because I tow my boat with it in the summer but someone would get better mileage for sure if you got 3.73 ratio gears to go in the rear end. The only other thing I have toyed with on it was lowering it, I love the way they look lowered but I towed enough with it that I just never jumped in and lowered it. I was able to take it out to a car show this past summer and it brought home an award which I was pretty happy with. This burb really has been my baby and I would trust it to drive anywhere and look amazing doing it. I have invested more time and money than I will ever recoup out of it because I built it with the intention of keeping forever; that being said the time has somehow come to sell it. Email me or call or text 208-589-9783 with any question. Thanks John
