For sale by private owner so no fees and no reserve.2001 Honda Insight with only 78k original miles, clean CarFax with only 2 previous owners (one of them owned it 14 years).Built in Japan in the same NSX factory, made of aluminum and magnesium so no rust.It's automatic, power windows and mirrors, 6 CD changer, AM/FM cassette, heater/AC, very clean cloth seats, removable pop-up moonroof with sun shades, alloy wheels , keyless entry, 4 speakers .The tires are in a good condition, drives perfectly without any mechanical issues, unique fun to drive car.Clean CarFax without any accidents.Got some little parking lot sings/dents and the rear spoiler is a little faded as you see in photos.No engine smoking, leaks or any burning.Basically everything is working properly.The IMA battery light comes on sometimes but IMA Battery and Motor Assist cycles thru the charge with no problems even when IMA light comes.Its not a luxury car, as simple as a Civic and drives like a Civic. Clean MO , passed MO safety and emission and it still has a valid one.They are rare to find in this condition with these very low miles.Purchased couple weeks ago for wife but she didn't like the low driver seat so its gotta go, I parked my Camry and using it myself till it sells so miles will go up 50 miles everyday. I literally went to the gas station only one time and I drove about 500 miles since we got it (one full tank 10.5 gallons gave more than 490 miles). The car is paying itself from the money it's saving you in the gas. Would keep it myself but it's small to carry my packages from USPS to my business.With only 78K miles on the car its got many life left on it, these Hondas go beyond 300K miles easily, its a Honda after all. 500$ deposit required from the winning bid and the rest to be paid cash in person with vehicle pick-up and will park the car ( wont drive it and will give you the exact miles ) till you come pick it up. On Jan-01-15 at 15:58:18 PST, seller added the following information: *** Those who asked me about the IMA battery and the car's title; the title is in my own name, based on the info the dealer (very reputable TX dealer) I purchased the car from ( retired previous owner replaced the IMA battery and its module and other stuff 9K miles ago in 2011) , I have NO receipts or any service records in hand to confirm that but thats what I have been told and I believe the dealer so I have no liability but as I mentioned the IMA light came only one time for 10 min after driving it for 400 miles and the charging cycles never gave any issues even when the IMA light came so I think the IMA light might have been due to me parking the vehicle couple days or the previous owner driving it for only 9K miles in the past 3 years. Also forgot to mention that in Saint Louis where I live a car has to pass a rigorous safety and emission inspection by the state before registering it and the insight passed both the safety and emission ( I still have a valid papers ) , for emission they ran a diagnose on the all emission related items ( O2, catalytic converters, engine codes, warning failures etc ) and for safety they inspect ( all suspension, brakes, rotors, control arms, wipers, mirrors, tires, engine and transmission mounts etc) and the car passed all that with flying colors.
