Car was my dad's pride and joy - he owned MB diesels his whole life. 191k miles. I have personally never seen a cleaner 140 car. He purchased this from the original owner about 15 years ago. Cylinder head, turbo, and injection pump rebuilt within last 5 years. Receipts for most items. All parts from Hoehn Mercedes in Carlsbad including reman'd trans. All smog equipment/timing controller disabled on advice of german diesel mechanic at Hoehn - runs much better than stock. Seats rebuilt to better than stock. Entire interior professionally insulated with dynamat on top of W140 insulation - very, very quiet. No tears or rips anywhere in interior - dash and steering wheel have no cracks. Never smoked in. Kenwood bluetooth stereo with remote - entire Bose system disabled (brain and amp are still under back seat if someone wants to restore it). 3 way components up front, 4 JL subs in the back. Complete air conditioning system, power vacuum assist doors, power locks, and dual pane/privacy glass window motors all rebuilt within last 10 years - everything works. A/C is ice cold. Heater core also replaced - heat works well. New shocks/springs within last 3 years. Some light scratches (it is 22 years old), almost no dents. No rust. No accidents or bodywork ever. Very clean underneath. All of the minor covers/plastic panels are all there. Only problems with car: 2 out of 4 subs have cracked cones (so I turned them down), sometimes the driver's door does not unlock with fob. Call me Chip 760-613-2545 to discuss. Clean title in hand.
