2001 Honda Insight. Silverstone metallic. 5-speed manual transmission. 192,200 miles. Average 65 mpg highway (and I don't baby it) and 54 mpg in mainly city driving.Engine runs perfectly and a new Honda replacement battery was installed at 157,000 miles in 2010. I installed a charger on the battery so that you never have to worry about buying a new battery again, provided you make sure to charge the battery if the car has been sitting for longer than a week or two (have receipts and Carfax to prove). Would not hesitate to drive this car long distances -- recently made two trips to the Shenandoah mountains and the car performed without a hiccup. I purchased this car to commute to law school and ended up deciding for forego school for the time being. I am a car enthusiast and know all about the vehicle -- ask me questions. Carfax vehicle history report available upon request. VIRGINIA EMISSIONS JUST PASSED - Now good through December 2015. Stickers on license plate to be updated shortly.1st and 2nd gear synchros are worn out (completely driveable with this issue, which is extremely common for Gen 1 manual trans insights - it means you need to rev match when you down shift to 2nd or 1st gear to avoid grinding the gears). There is a typical tear on the driver's side seat bolster from normal wear and tear. Spoiler on trunk (which can be detached easily and re-painted) is peeling.
