*****RE-LISTED DUE TO EBAY ERROR****I WAS SHOCKED TO SEE THAT EBAY HAD ENDED MY PREVIOUS LISTING, THEY STATED THAT MY ACCOUNT WAS UNDER REVIEW, SO I CALLED THE CUSTOMER SERVICE LINE. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE FOR EBAY SAID THAT THEY HAD TO REMOVE MY LISTING AND REVIEW MY ACCOUNT SINCE IT WAS THE FIRST ITEM THAT I HAD LISTED FOR SALE WITH THIS NEW EBAY ACCOUNT. EBAY APOLOGIZED FOR THE INCONVENIENCE AND THEN UNLOCKED MY ACCOUNT SO I COULD RE-LIST MY GTO. THE REPRESENTATIVE ASSURED ME THAT THIS WOULD NOT HAPPEN AGAIN AND APOLOGIZED AND SAID IT WAS AN EBAY POLICY TO STOP ALL FIRST TIME SELLER'S ITEMS. I AM NOT HAPPY THAT EBAY DID THIS TO ME AND APOLOGIZE TO ALL THE BIDDERS. THIS LISTING STILL HAD 5 DAYS LEFT BEFORE IT WAS STOPPED, SO PLEASE CONTINUE TO BID. This GTO needs a good home to someone who can devote the time into a restoration. I am sad to part with her before getting to the restoration but need the money. What I know- I am the 3rd owner (from what I could find researching) The first owner bought this car for his wife and family ( this is the reason for the 2-speed automatic and air-conditioning) it also makes this car rare. The engine has about 120K miles on it and runs good for its age (probably needs a tune up). The car has the original engine, transmission and rear end, all seem to be in good condition. Everything on this car- from what the previous owner and I can tell- is all original. The frame looks to be in very good shape, solid. Interior is all there but shows age. All the hard-to-find trim pieces are there but show age as well. This GTO does need a restoration for the body mainly. If you have any questions please let me know. I know what I paid for it and my selling reservation is very fair considering the market for a rare 1966 GTO.
