This is a rare Volvo 262C (Bertone Coupe). It Volvo's top luxury model. Only 1920 of these two-door coupes were produced in 1980 and only 6622 for all years. If you are not familiar with the car, take a look at the Wikipedia description for Volvo 262C. This Volvo is in excellent condition. It has had a repaint that looks great. The body is straight with all the original trim. The interior condition is similarly excellent. There are no rips or tears. The dash pad is unblemished and even the factory clock works! The original PRV V6 engine has been replaced with a 1991 GM 305 V8 and a TH700R4 4-speed automatic transmission. This is a great improvement over the unloved V6. The Car starts immediately and runs beautifully. I drove it from Santa Barbara to the San Francisco area in comfort and style, with no issues. The Volvo is equipped with power windows, power locks, and air conditioning. The tires are good and the car is ready to be driven away. It has a California Air Resources Certification and has a current California Emissions Certification and clean California title. The odometer is not working and the mileage on the car and the engine are unknown. The speedometer is working. This is a classic car that is 30+ years old and is being sold "WHERE IS, AS IS." The vehicle is available for inspection prior to bidding. The mileage listed shows on the odometer, but the actual mileage is unknown. A $500 deposit is required within three days of the winning bid.
