Im re-listing this item because the winning ebay customer never paid for item. Serious Bidders only please!!!!!! UP FOR BID is my 1972 Volkswagen Super Beetle. This is the last year for the super beetle with the flat windshield. This vehicle is 100% complete with a notarized title and a set of keys. As you can see from the photos, there are some rust issues that need attention for restoration. I removed the rear fenders and seats to show the bidder that the area needing attention for restoration. I was going to restore this vehicle myself, thinking I could get away with rear floor pans, but upon closer inspection, I see it needs more attention in the rocker panels, wheel wells and undercarriage. It would be better if this vehicle went to a home where the owner had more experience with sheet metal and welding then I do. Sheet metal is fairly cheap through companies such as Wolfsberg West and J.C. Whitney. The engine is 100% complete but it needs to be reassembled. With this sale, I have included a new set of main bearings with the engine. The interior is complete with seat covers that are in good shape. I cant open the front hood because the cable must be broken. In order to get in you can cut the front handle or unbolt a panel underneath, that is, according to the VW chat rooms. I have 2 rear replacement fenders with lights as well. The photos explain pretty much everything with this sale. Vehicle is sold as is. $100 deposit on Pay Pal due Immediately.
