1981 Chevy Suburban 454 big block. This is 2 owner truck, I bought this from the son of the original owner. The truck runs strong and was serviced about 4 months ago. got the distributor, wires, spark plugs replaced. I had the mechanic do a safety check and all was ok. The truck has power windows and locks. The windows all roll fine, but can use a good lube job, they stick a little when rolling up. The weather stripping for windows and door can use a refresh, they are currently cracked. The power locks work fine no issues. The back glass was replaced a month ago and at the same time the motor was rebuilt, so the rear window rolls up like new. This truck is mostly all original, the paint was done by the previous owner and is not the best job. The body is pretty straight, but it does have dings on the body, nothing big though. This is a California truck so has next to no rust. there is some small surface rust which is normal. The usually spots are all strong (see pictures). The tires are all good and no wobbling. For California, the truck passes smog with easy, that it last smoged when I changed the title a few months ago. The truck is equipped with tow package, not sure how it works, I have never used it. The radio and lights all work fine. The A/C system works but needs a recharge, heat is strong and no issues. The interior is in normal condition for this year, its all original. It is a strong work truck. I got it to take camping and had no issues going up mountains. Per the mechanic, the front brake pads will needed in the future ($150). Please keep in mind this is a 33+ year old truck that is mostly original and has not been messed with. I am giving the most accurate description possible as of the listing. The truck hauls well and ride is very smooth. Per the last owner, he did do some engine adjustments on the chain and valves, but I am not too familiar with those so can't guarantee it. The buyer is responsible for shipping and transfer taxes.The truck is currently registered till 09/15 and there is nothing outstanding with DMV. $500 deposit is required within 48 hours of close of auction and the balance is due within 7 days from close of auction. The buyer has to pick up the truck within a week after final payment. If a deposit is not made within 48 hours, I reserve the right to sell it to the next highest bidder or relist. If the balance is not paid in full, the deposit will be forfeited. Payment is only through cash or bank transfer and delivery is after the payment clears.
