Desirable 1963 Round Headlights version with automatic and A/C. Ran out of steam after repaint on straight rust free body. Car should be complete plus extra parts including 2 spare motors, not exactly sure what else is there, everything goes as one lot, will not part out. Sorry the photos aren't better. Car had rusty torque boxes, so prior owner (an engineer and race motor builder by trade) did a frame-off rotisserie restoration of the body, including replacement of the rusty frame sections with NOS parts and frame sections from Studebaker. He saved the original section that contained the S/N tag. Car was complete, running and driving before he started the restoration. I believe it has all power equipment available (PS, PB, etc.) plus AC. Original motor is there but apart for a rebuild (with many new parts). He also has, in boxes, enough rare NOS original, correct interior material to redo the entire interior (which currently is original) plus enough NOS original, correct headliner material to redo it as well. IMPORTANT- contrary to what I wrote previously, the 2 extra motors (turns out they are from Hudson Hawks, not an Avanti) are NOT included in the sale because they are in a different location and hard to access (they are still in the prior owner's basement.) I apologize for any misinformation, and hope this does not affect any bids already made.
