This Cadillac has 107,187 miles and is being sold, as is with NO RESERVE so we do not have to re-list. We hold clear title. This Cadillac is being auctioned by the Woodridge Illinois Police Department. The history of this vehicle is unknown as it was seized in a traffic-stop arrest that occurred on June 14th, 2014. Following the arrest this Cadillac was stored in a warehouse until it was awarded to us by court order. We will attempt to describe this vehicle to the best of our ability and you may inspect the vehicle, in person, by appointment. The body has scratches and scuff marks and there are scuff marks on the rear bumper. The front grill has cracks. There is fluid on bottom of the engine. See photos. The interior shows some ware. There is a piece of wood wedged between the front passenger side door that appears to be holding the glass up. There are old tape marks on the rear passenger side window indicating that tape may have been used to keep that glass up. See photos. Before a brief test drive the Cadillac’s engine started and there were “check oil level” and “check coolant level” showing in the dash display. The front passenger side window and the rear passenger side windows do not roll down. During the test drive the Cadillac accelerated, stopped and handled as expected for a vehicle of this age. There is wind noise that comes from the front passenger door area. It is suggested that the buyer have this Cadillac inspected/serviced by a qualified mechanic before use. See photos. The NADA listed value for this 2000 Cadillac DeVille V8 sedan 4D is $1,512 for “Rough Trade-In”, $2,212 for "Average Trade-In” and $2,812 for "Clean Trade-In”. We would put this vehicle is in “rough condition” but it is always recommended that you inspect the vehicle and make your own assessments before bidding.
