More than just an incredible machine, the FJ40 has stood the test of time as a true collectible. This is a original 1974 FJ40 4-speed. It was picked up by a collector over 12 years ago, who cared for it and put less than 1,000 miles on it during that timeframe. I picked it up when I bought a home in Washington state and have put less than 50 miles on it. The original engine has a bit over 89,000 miles on it and is running strong. This DOES include the rear spare tire holder, which is not on the FJ40 in the photos. No reserve, good luck. I am placing it up for sale locally as well, so may take it off early. A similar phenomenon is beginning to happen with Toyota FJ40 Land Cruisers; once a rare sight at high-end auctions, their presence has become expected, and prices for well-preserved or meticulously restored examples have risen accordingly.
