You are bidding on a 2004 Jaguar Xtype 3.0. Car has 77,000 miles on it. This car does not run. Here is the history. Bought the car salvaged in 2006. It was hit on the passenger back quarter panel. I got the panel fixed, received the rebuilt title and registered the car. Last year I had the transmission fault come on and the car was only running in 4th gear. I took it to the local jaguar dealer to see if a module was bad, but they said that I needed a solenoid replaced (have there work order). They also did not just replace solenoids it would have had to been the whole transmission. So I drove the car home let it sit over the winter. Come spring of this year, I go out to move the car to take it to Aamco, to see if they can do the solenoid. Try and start and I get nothing. Battery is good, but won't turn over. Oil level is also good. Upon further investigating I see what looks to be a home built by a mouse on the top of engine by the starter. At this point I give up. The car use to run but just in the fourth gear. Everything electronic worked great. Navigation, heated seats, windows, A/C. The car has a rebuilt title in my name that I have registered like a normal car for the last several years. Thank you for looking. Please ask questions.
