I DRAINED OLD GAS FROM TANK,AND BOWLS . REPLACED WITH FRESH FUEL. PUMPED AND HELD PLUNGERS(TICKLERS) TILL FUEL WAS VISIBLE AT TICKLER. DID THIS FOR EACH CARB. WITH BATTERY FRESHLY CHARGED I KICKED IT ONCE , AND BIKE STARTED.HOWEVER CARBS WILL NEED TUNING AND/OR REMOVED FOR MORE THOROUGH CLEANING....1972 Triumph Trident – One of the great bikes from Triumph! Three cylinder – plenty of power, but, maintained the famous Triumph handling characteristics. This motorcycle is in extraordinary, original condition for a a bike of 40+ years. The seat, as an example, shows little wear....the Triumph logo is fading, but still, quite legible! The motorcycle is clean with no apparent damage. The battery cover does have cracks....probably from being removed and reinstalled improperly. Signal lamps, horn, original gauges are all in place and working! If you have been looking for a clean, original Trident.....this would be a very good choice!
