1979 International Scout II This classic 4X4 is fun in any season, winter, summer spring or fall. This is a solid 2-owner Scout II that has spent most of its existence here in Colorado,s dry climate & has faird well over the past 35 years! The second owner purchased the Scout in 1994 and drove it regularly until his passing in 2005. It sat in the garage in Northern Colorado for 8 years and barely driven. I purchased it last year and had plans to restore it. The paint was fading in places, original interior was/is intact but, showing signs of wear due to age. Mechanically, the Scout runs and drives great. I had the car painted and was planning to have the interior refinished next but, I have decided to offer it for sale and let someone else finish it. Its a good solid rust free(no rust-outs) vehicle. It is hard to find one this solid these days that arent selling @ an astronomical price. I get many comments on how nice it is. Looks great but, can still be driven anywhere without worrying about scratches to a $10,000 paint job. The bumpers and brightwork is all original. I have the original tire cover and gas can that mounts on rear rack.
