Vehicle Detail

This car is complete, but partially disassembled. The car was in the process of having the engine swapped from the Flathead V8 to a 302 and T-10 4-speed. Both engines started and ran before removal. This car was driving when the engine was removed, but I think the rear end may have locked up while it has been sitting. The 302 is included and has an edelbrock intake, holley double pumper carb, headers, and MSD ignition. The transmission shifts great and has a reputation for reliability. The original Flathead and 3-speed are included as well. Both engines ran before removal. Interior is also removed, but complete. Some vinyl is torn, but it is mostly in tact to the point it could definitely just be reupholstered to match original. There is not a lot of rust for a car this old. All of the real undertaking would be the floor rust which needs patched and the rear quarters. The fenders also have some rust around the headlight ring. All trim is included with some bonus pieces that came with the car. Carpet was thrown out so is absent. Flowmaster mufflers and a new radiator and water pump are also included (the engines had started to leak when it started driving, and I bought a replacement before I decided to just use a 302 instead). There are also numerous other odds and ends including a new billet throttle pedal, a salvaged side mirror, etc. I was told by the previous owner that the drum brakes had been gone over. They worked suprisingly well compared to every other drum brake car I've driven. American racing wheels also came on the car. Tires are not roadworthy, but they roll. Odometer cable was broken, so there is no telling the mileage. I think it was showing 30000 when removed of course it is only 5 digit. I have gotten a job offer out-of-state and will not have time or money for the project. I hope to find this shoebox a good home.
