This 1987 silverado shortbed is a true southern survivor. This truck has the charcoal interior with the black exterior, very nice color combonation. It has the powerful 350 engine with the overdrive transmission. The truck runs great with no mechanical issues, and no drips or leaks. This is the fuel injected (TBI) engine. It's all there and all original. This was a high option truck with all power options, power windows, power locks, tilt, power steering ,power brakes , air condition, and a nice trim package. The body is in great shape, no rust or dents. The new black paint job has a beautiful shine to it, it is near show quality. All trim is in excellent shape with some of it being brand new. The insides of the bed are not finished with the same shine as the outside, but they have a nice matte black finish. This truck is a real head turner. The interior has new carpet, new seat cover, new headliner and new door trim, it is in real nice shape. The dash has an aftermarket radio but it is mounted in the original holes. It works but is nothing special. The windows go up and down as they should, no dragging or slow speeds. The power locks work but sometimes you have to hit the switch a couple of times. It runs down the road nice and quiet with minimal wind noise. It has the factory 15x8 rally wheels and 235/75/15 white letter tires. The tires have 50 % or better rubber on them. This truck will make someone a nice cruiser or could be a cool daily driver, it is very dependable and gets pretty good MPG. The factory owners manual packet as well as the original bill of sale is still in the dash. This is a southern truck that has never seen salty roads or harsh winters.
