very rare 1964 pontiac bonneville 2dr factory 421 tripower 350hp. PHS verified, 1 of only 303 made, 1 of possibly less than 50 in code N sunfire red, a part year color that was recalled due to blotching,then re-released after the problem was fixed and the paint re-formulated, google sunfire red 64 gto, high performance pontiac several yrs ago, they did an article on a rare sunfire red gto, and they cover the problems early on, and the stop in the ordering of the color till it was re-formulated,then re-released, making any pontiac in this color rare, it is called 1 of the 3 rarest colers ever ordered in 64- this car came with the following per the PHS; tinted glass, pwr windows,seat belts w/retractors,pwr 6-way seat,pwr trunk,frt/rr floor mats, roof drip mould.2-speed w/s wiper,rear defrost,air cond. dome read lamp,glare-proof mirror,remote control dr. side mirror, visor mirror,pwr brakes,L-69 421HP tripower engine,350HP, hydramatic trans,dlx steering wheel,tilt wheel,pwr steering,spare tire cover,8 lug aluminum wheels,flr mounted spare tire,WSW tires,back up lamps,trunk light,glove box light,ash tray lamp,courtesy light,electric clock,parking brake light,am-fm radio,pwr antenna,radio reverb. this was a GM showcase car that went to ca. when built,the car came w/a reg. office letter of some sort, obviously a special order car, then was brought back to michigan for some reason. the 421 engine is long gone, it does however come w/the original heavy duty 4 speed hydramatic trans, that has been prof. rebuilt and has very low miles on it. the car suffered very minor front end damage due to a young driver trying to show off while dad was gone for the weekend,rh fender,bumper,rad support,no frame damage, orig. hood is perfect, all a/c parts are in the trunk, plus extra parts. also included is the complete front end off of a 64 bonneville donor car, frt bumper is perfect driver quality, good inner fender, good rad support,grilles,etc,fenders are straight, but have some rust at the bottoms, easy fix, plus, the fenders on the 421 car are rust free at the bottoms, so there you go- also on the donor car are the door,trunk,and ign. locks missing on the 421 car, with keys. also included are a set of 8 lug wheels w/roller tires on them, the wheels are very clean, the drums are nice but do need to be re-lined, no caps or rings, but those they re-produce. the pwr windows and pwr seat work, frame is super clean,floors are very nice, pass. front needs a patch, the rest are mint. trunk floor is weak in spots, but they now make a nice trunk floor for these so no problem there.the doors are very nice, the rear quarters are pretty solid, a few spots as seen in the pics, very minor.this is a very rare car, 303, rare part year low production color, loaded to the gills, the only thing i see missing option wise is a posi rear end, which is strange,no pwr locks,no bucket seats or tach,that's about it. so, you have all parts, minus engine, to build this rare car, besides a pass. front floor, and a trunk floor repair, both avail. and cheap. i hate to sell it, but i know i will never get to it, i have 3 in front of it, so i want to see it go to someone who will do it right. 300.00 paypal deposit within 48hrs of auction end, bal. due by cashiers check or cash at time of pick up within 7 days of auction end. i will help load,it roles and steers,it will have the 8 lugs on it before auction end. thanks for looking- i forgot to add that i do have a clear title for the car, and i added a picture of the donor car which is being stripped this week.thanks-
