Vehicle Detail
Fresh out of the shop and up for sale is this beautiful 1983 Ford Bronco (full sized). We sourced this vehicle from its original owners in Colorado who verified that the 79k on the odometer is correct. This Bronco has the desirable and bulletproof straight 6 with a rebuilt carb that makes it purr like a kitten. 4-speed manual transmission helps this truck get surprisingly decent mileage from what we've seen in driving it around a bit. This Bronco has factory AC, though the belt is not hooked up, and I would suspect that it needs servicing. This truck has power steering and brakes, and the power rear window works as it should. 4 wheel drive works well, and we successfully engaged low range to ensure it is operational. Aftermarket CD player is in the dash and works fine. The interior includes brand new tan carpeting that looks great. Seats are upgraded buckets out of a 1986 Eddie Bauer Bronco and look fantastic and are in great shape as well. The factory center console is out of the 1986 Eddie Bauer Bronco as well. The exterior was recently resprayed to a nice dark brown that sets off the tan removable hard top quite well. Looks good in person, though there are a few minor dings here and there, and some body work is evident upon inspection, especially on the lower tail gate. Complete color change was not done, so original tan color is still visible in door jambs and under the hood. All in all, a very nice looking truck that gets a ton of attention and compliments - though is more of an enjoyable driver than a show truck. Tires and wheels are in nice shape. Tires have a ton of tread left and wheels have recently been plasti-dipped to white. Going down the road, steering seems good for a truck of this age, and it always starts, stops, turns and drives as it should. I've had no problem holding 70 MPH on the freeway, so this is a very daily-drivable vehicle. I've included some shots of the underbody that show what nice original condition it is in. Frame is solid and I found no rotten areas of the floor with my visual inspection. Our shop specializes in vintage four wheel drive vehicles, and this Bronco really is a nice example of a good looking, very drivable recent classic that is enjoyable and easy to own and won't cost an arm and a leg to buy, drive and maintain. Plenty of modern conveniences with a cool retro look. We encourage all buyers to inspect the truck or ask any questions that you may have before bidding. We're happy to arrange transportation to anywhere in the continental US, and would be glad to pick up any buyer at MSP airport who wishes to drive it home. Thanks, and happy bidding!
