Selling my beautiful 1993 Northstar Powered Cadillac Allante. By far the most desirable and powerful of the series, produced with this power plant only one year. Even better, with both hard and soft tops. I believe 92 and 93 had a unique hardtop, and these are very hard to find. Car starts and runs great, shifts smoothly, nice interior. I have invested lots of time and money in this car. Installed a complete wood kit, dash kit and shift knob. New custom dash cover, custom painted dual tone pin stripes. I drove it today, Sunday 11/2, for 50 miles around town and the highway, great ride. Operating temperature and oil pressure are great, feels excellent at 65 mph on the highway. The original steering wheel, which in my opinion was not as pretty, was replaced for a $400 Nardi Italian wheel and hub. The original wheel and airbag are included, in case the buyer wants to put them back. I covered the service air bag light sign on the dash with a piece of the wood laminate. I am including the original wheel in case you want it, also the air bag. It is well known that airbags expire, so there is no point in keeping an old and ugly big steering wheel that will not protect you in case of an accident. No vibrations, no pulls, cruise control, windows, and all the dash work. As with any vintage car, even if in excellent shape, it is not a perfect car. It will need service, but as far as I know can be driven anywhere with reliability and enjoyment. The service soon light / warning comes on from time to time. The dash pad corners and around the defrost vent has lifted, (although not as much as all the one I have seen) which is common of all GM cars, as the plastic material delaminates and has to be re-glued. Overall, the car is in awesome condition, well maintained, needs little to be a show winner, but can be enjoyed with pride the way it is. AC is ice cold, all the dash and gauges are operational and bright. Power windows, seats, cruise control and locks work fine.No hesitation. No leaks, no smoke, no known problems. The carpets are in very good condition. The paint is shinny and will only show minor scratches and chips consistent with very delicate use. Buy this car with confidence.
