This is a fine example of a totally restored TR4A. It starts and runs really well, and the suspension and braking feel like a new car. Excellent paint with only a couple of really minor chips. There is no rust. Recent improvements include Pertronix ignition, New Moss leather seats over new foam, new steering wheel, tonneau cover, and gear reduction starter. The top, not shown in the pictures, is black and in new condition. The car also has a stainless steel exhaust system. Let me tell you the faults I can think of: The trip odometer works but the non-resettable one does not. This is my third Triumph and they all suffered this malady. The turn signals work but the repeater (the little green light on the dashboard) does not. The chrome on the tail light bezels has some pitting. There is also some pitting on the turn signal/parking light assemblies on the front fenders. All other chrome is excellent. If you are interested in correctness, you should know that the sun visors are from a Triumph Spitfire. Otherwise this car is a wonderful driver, or show locally. I almost certainly will no longer have a three car garage, and so will have no place to keep it.On Nov-02-14 at 11:30:50 PST, seller added the following information: Since I have been asked more than once, here is some additional information: The Commission Number is CT 55987 L, Paint 25, Trim H11. This means the original color was the same dark green and the original seats were leather. Leather was an option, vinyl standard.
