Vehicle Detail
I have a clean 1959 Chevrolet El Camino for sale. I just picked this car from a barn where it has been sitting since 1998. As you see it, the only things that I have done to it was wash it, change the oil, new spark plugs, battery and swap out the tires and rims. It had 14 inch multi lug rims with caps that had some wide whites on them. It now has 14 inch steel rims with pinners. The tires are in good shape and I drive this car all around town. The engine is a 235 with a 3 speed on the column. It starts right up and shifts smooth. There has been some rust repair but I don't know to what extent. There is the typical rust that these cars have in the floor. I have not seen any "holes" thru the floor. The glass is in good shape. The driver side door glass has a small crack in it. No smoke while driving or weird noises. The brakes will nee to be gone thru as this car has sat for over 20 years. It does stop though. These are getting really hard to find and even harder to find in this shape. If you have any questions feel free to email me. Good Luck James This is a as is where is auction. The vehicle is for sale locally and can be removed from auction at any time. International buyers welcome. Storage fees may apply beyond a reasonable time frame. There is a non refundable $500 USD deposit due within 24 hours of end of auction. Buyers are responsible for shipping arrangements. On Oct-29-14 at 11:41:00 PDT, seller added the following information: Sorry I forgot to add the body tag with this. STYLE 59-1280 BODY VN 4430 TRIM 803 PAINT 973 C ACC EZI FR BD The car was built in the Van Nuys California plant and was Ermine white and Roman red with Grey interior. The Acc. codes for this car are EZI= tinted glass. The FR is unknown as far as I can tell and the BD might have to do with the stainless trim. Most El Caminos had a v8 trim tag but were factory L6. The door vin tag confirms this. G59L-168552. G= L6 59= year and L= Los Angeles plant. So yes this is an original two tone California car.
