You are bidding on a great project car for a mechanic or hobbiest. 2001 JAGUAR XJ8 WITH ONLY 77,950 MILES. THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION. I purchased as a project, many new parts and work done including timing chains, chain guides and tensioners. I need to move and sell. This car is being sold "as is" and needs work to restore it to its former glory. It needs to be transported as it has no compression in one cylinder which I suspect is a stuck valve. I will help coordinate pickup and shipping on my end but winner of this auction should plan to arrange and pay for shipping. What has been done: New O2 sensors, New timing chains, chain guides and tensioners, New plugs, New fuel pump, New fuel filter, New air filter, New water pump, New rear muffler. New battery. What are the issues: ACS and TRAC Not Available warning lights - suspect it needs a new module, No compression in 4th cylinder - suspect a bent or stuck valve, compression is great in other 7 cylinders, Needs new paint - clear coat is peeling, hood ornament needs a new mounting spring.
