You are bidding on a 1994 Jaguar XJS Convertible 2+2 with 88K original miles. This One owner rust free vehicle spent it's entire life between 2 homes in Colorado and California. Car is in perfect condition. Extensive repair records available including complete recent tune up, Air cond. service and a new soft top! You don't see these vehicles very often, but they are a solid enjoyable alternative to all the other classic convertibles out there. I would jump in this car, put the top down and drive anywhere with out a concern of "will I get there"? Engine: Recent complete tune up. Plugs, wires, distributor, rotor, fuel filter. Engine starts up immediately every time. Settles into a smooth 800 rpm idle with no misfire. Pulls all the way to redline with no knocking. No pinging. No missing or hesitation. Engine temperature gauge never rises above half way point. And No OIL LEAKS!!! Not a drop! Catalytic convertors were also just replaced. Transmission: Transmission engages from Park to Drive back to Park again with no hesitation, no clunk, no vibration. Just a smooth nudge indicating solid engagement. Shifts up and down through the gears with no slipping, no hard shifting and no whining. Electrical: All electrical components are in perfect working order. P seat controls, P windows, P locks, P top goes up and down perfectly with no drama. Air Cond was recently serviced and is ICE COLD. Radio, all speakers, CD Player, remote locking, all work. Cruise control seems to work intermittently. Odometer and speedometer are in perfect working order and miles are documented correct and accurate! Paint: Paint is all original and is still in great condition. Front bumper was repainted, but no structural damage to bumper support at all. A few minor dings/blemishes that are not worth photographing, but all in all, paint is an 8 out of 10. Paint just beginning to cloud a bit on trunk lid only. Slight color variation on door where side mouldings where removed for aesthetic reasons. Will include original mouldings with sale if buyer wishes. Interior: Other than normal wear on carpet and seats, interior is in perfect condition. Visible wear on driver seat cushion. No cracks in wood, dash or leather. No tears in leather, headliner or soft top. (Soft top was just replaced) Tires/Brakes: Tires are BRAND NEW(Discount Tire). Perfectly balanced and perfectly aligned. Brakes are in excellent condition. New Calipers and new pads. Stops with no pullling and no diving. Suspension: Vehicle handles very well still. Normal cowl shake for any convertible of this era, but all in all very still drives very tight. Please look at all my photos carefully. Keep in mind that this is still a 20 yr old car.
