We have just recently picked up a very cool , one owner , low mile , unrestored , unmolested 66 coupe. This car is probably the most original corvette I have ever had or seen . The frame is excellent and has never been touched . Clock and radio don't work , the power antenna works fine and so do the headlights and gauges . radio sometimes works . The body is un hit and the bonding strips are all original and in great condition . The interior is untouched and is in great condition . a few seems on the drivers side seat are split , barely noticeable . Dash pads are excellent . All original glass , chrome and stainless . Nothing has been rechromed or changed out . And there in great condition 70000 miles wear and tear but very solid and shiny . This car has had one repaint many years ago , the paint is not bad but is very old and thin looking here and there , there is a few chips here and there also .By looking at the car it seems like lots of the paint might be original , it looks like it might have been spot painted here and there. The old lady could not remember . The body is excellent . The gauges all work except clock and radio .Headlights work . This is a 327 / 300 horse with powerglide transmission . 4 wheel manual disc brakes and power steering . We just put a new gas tank in it and had the original carb. rebuilt . All components are original . Holley carburetor # 3605 , intake # 3872788 l95 , motor # matches and has never been restamped . This is a very original car . Car build date is Nov 1965 . This car spent its hole life in Muskego Wi . I purchased it from a lady , her husband bought it brand new and died in 1988 .She transferred the title to her name and I put it in my name in Aug 2014 . I have no reason not to believe the ladys story . This is a true survivor car . unrestored , one owner . Runs and drives great . To me this is a show car . There is lots of pretty shinny restored car out there,but how many unrestored 70000 act.mile cars do you see . I have lots of cool paperwork for this car darting back in the 70s . Like oil changes break caliper rebuilds exc. If you are looking for a perfect corvette this car is not it . IT IS UNRESTORED . ORIGNAL .
