1956 Austin Healey BN2 Colorado Red Offered is a 1956 Austin Healey BN2 chassis. This is determined by the original transmission mount in the factory correct BN2 location and has not been modified or altered. This is a project that has rust and a previous low speed accident, front left side. As there is no suspension or rear end, the car does not roll. I will include the dolly it is on, I have a fork lift and can help load it on a trailer or deliver it to a local shipping agent. 30 years ago, my father bought as many project Healey's as he could find in the SF Bay area. This one has had a shunt on the front left side, it should be pretty easily fixed by someone familiar with these cars. Please see pics. The rear of the chassis is beautiful and has not any indication of accidents or repair. The rear is also relatively solid. Visually, the chassis appears to be very straight having only had a minor accident on the front left side. As seen in picture 2, on the front left bulkhead there was a bush growing through the chassis, some of it is still there.  This Healey has had a V8 conversion at some point of it's life. The factory motor mounts have been discarded and it appears that mounting points for a Chevy V8 have been in installed. The frame rail has also been channeled to fit the oil pan and the foot boxes have been cut and lightly modified. A crude trans mount has been installed in front of the factory Healey trans mount. All of these issues are repairable.  Everything in the pictures is included. If it's not pictured, it's not included in the auction. The car is being offered as found. Again, there is no title, and no chassis plate, body tag.
